I spent over twenty years as an immigration practitioner, and a further five years teaching Immigration and Political Asylum.
I was a “Leading Individual” in Immigration in Chambers Guide To The Legal Profession.
I was elected to the Council of the Law Society to represent the Immigration Solicitors.
I was one of only 8 solicitors in England to be on the Law Society’s Panels for Business Immigration, Family Immigration and Political Asylum. I was approved by the Legal Services Commission as an Assessor for Political Asylum.
My LLM dissertation was on the Domicile of Illegal Immigrants and Refugees. I taught Immigration for The Law Centres Federation, the Immigration Law Practitioners Association, and for local Bradford organisations.
I am now wildly out of date – please do not ask me for advice. My selection of writings is below.
